This is a story about a beautiful African utopia surrounded by an abundance of natural resources and happy citizens. Lurking in the shadows are dark days ahead. As people began to disappear without a trace, the citizens no longer felt safe. The vigilante group and service people must search everywhere fast, before it’s too late. Will they find the people who disappeared on time to heal them from their trauma, or will they grow to victimize others and turn their once beautiful solace into a place that becomes synonymous with death and despair?
Africans who were taken from their homeland against their will suffered greatly so did the rest of the families who were left behind.
As soon as Yetunde opened the door, Oshare forced his way in, looking for Ikenna. Yetunde told him that her son was not home but at a hospital receiving medical care. She asked him what he was doing in her house. Oshare tearfully explained to Yetunde that her son left his baby girl behind, and because of that, she was kidnapped. Yetunde felt very sad and heartbroken for Oshare, but she still had to defend her son.
“Ikenna was not obligated to risk his life to help your child; he had his own life to protect. And, he already gave up half of his meat. You do not expect him to give up anything else, do you?” she replied stoically.
“I see, so you are still angry about that. A piece of meat has cost me the life of my child!” exclaimed Oshare. He put his head down, cried for a minute, and slowly shook his head from left to right as he walked off.
